Curriculum

 
 

Treat your child to a nurturing and educational environment with learning activities that stimulate your child's growth and development.


 

Our program incorporates activities related to the monthly theme. Every week the children learn one letter and one number along with a different topic. Topics are derived from special holidays, seasonal events, student interests, teacher interests, and parent interests.  Shapes and colors are studied for an entire month.  


Letters, numbers, shapes, colors, and topics are discussed during circle-time and carried over into other activities.

Along with topics of interest, students develop social learning skills such as taking turns, listening to and speaking to others, expressing feelings and ideas, cooperating with others, negotiating solutions to problems, showing concern for others, and being aware of self and others, and becoming more independent in their self-help skills.

 

Toddler and pre-kindergarten learning includes, but is not limited to:

Shapes and colors

Number and letter recognition

Weather and seasons

Calendar

Reading/ story time

Arts/ crafts

Music/ dance

Finger plays/ dramatic play

Science/nature

 

Our infants will participate in story time, finger plays,  music time, etc.

Outdoor play time (weather permitting) and nap time are part of our daily scheduled activities.
